Sorrel wood

I like these flowers of which period of blooming is quite short. It seems to me that they are more delicate and pure. Sorrel wood blooms in spring and then they disappear for another year. They sometimes bloom in autumn, but it happenes very rarely.

    I took photos of this flower over the past weekend. I love the delicate pink lines in the petals and how some are more pronounced than others.

    You did get some very nice photos of something not always that easy to photograph unless you get down on your belly.
