These beautiful Magnolia flowers were found by me and my husband while our first bicycle trip during this spring.

Finally...

Finally after maaaany weeks of passive existance, there is hope for real spring. My body and my mind desire sunny warm days. I was desperately looking forward to see the first signs of spring, and I have finally seen the first crocuses today. I know that the weather isn't bad since the first day of spring, but my idea of this season is slightly different. As for me it should be warm and sunny from the beginning. Well, that's who I am, I hate winter, cold and everything what's connected with them. But enough about me... These are my today's photos :)

Minerals - part three.

The third and so far the last part of photos which present minerals show a small piece of a topaz. I would like to tell you that all the minerals that are shown on my blog come from my brother's collection. He's got some amazing examples of many different minerals.

Minerals - part two.

Today I want to show you a couple of agates. I love the shapes that are hidden in these minerals. Only after taking macro photos you notice some new lines or colours. I'm going to borrow three macro rings from my friend. There are some parts of these agates that shoud be enlarged but my current equipment is not good enough to do this.

Minerals - part one.

After a long break caused by the end of the term at school (very busy time for a teacher), I finally started to photohraph again. The weater in Poland resembles late autumn so you won't see any landscapes on my blog. I focus on minerals and water drops during the winter holiday that has just started.

Today, I present a mineral that has been bought as a souvenir during our last summer holidays.

The colours of Autumn

We are having a beautiful Autumn this year. The colours are beautiful and it is so warm. I don't remember such sunny All Saints' Day, which was last Sunday in Poland.
Anyway... these are the photos that I managed to take during our trip to a nearby forest.

In a different forest...

I haven't had much time for writing a post lately. So now, between cleaning windows and ironing, I'm going to show you some photos I have taken in Slovakia. This beautiful forest is located near Vrbickie Pleso (Pleso = Lake). I will show you this lake in a different post. Anyway, the forest is amasing, it's full of moss-covered trees and mushrooms. It's a beautiful place, worth visiting:)

More Clematis

When I'm writing this post there are almost no flowers left on my mother's Clematis. It's so sad. It makes me think that this summer (either hot as hell or cold and windy - like today) will end some time. All we want is a few days of normal, summer weather... is it too much to ask?

Anyway... in a few days I'm going for my holidays and I hope the weather in Slovakia will be at least a little bit more understanding:)

Bugs!

Here is a collection of dead bugs.

I know what You think... "you're a cruel person, Asia". For my defence I can say that I didn't kill them. They all come from the huge collection of my friend's father I was writing about in the previous post. He collects all kinds of bugs and insects from all of the world. He keeps them in the fridge and in show-cases on walls. His collection is huge and the butterfly from the previous post comes from it too.

I was wondering if You could tell if these bugs are dead. I know they are, so for me it's obvious. I think that their eyes are too mat and without this "spark". Especially the bug from the first picture. What do You think?
