There were a lot of this kind of birds by the sea. During cloudy days, they were very patient models as there weren't any people on the beach.

These beautiful birds were staring at the sunrise over the Baltic Sea. They looked as if they were really enjoying the view and as if it was a great pleasure for them to stand there and just watch the sun coming out.

Sunrise over the Baltic Sea

The first part of my holiday memories starts with a breathtaking sunrise. It was a very long day... We got up at 4 o'clock to catch this beautiful moment. What we didn't expect was that the train trip to Gdańsk we had planned for that day would take 3 hours one way... But this is a totally different story that I will tell you some other time.

This flower is called (correct me if I'm wrong) White Pulsatilla or Pulsatilla Alpina. We've seen them blooming during our last trip to the Tatra Mountains.

A little preview

Last week was an amazing time. I was visiting our Polish sea. I had been there once before, but I hadn't been able to see all these beautiful places. This time I was enjoying every moment and surprisingly... I like the sea:) This is a little preview of what our Baltik Sea looks like.

two creatures

There has been a funny photo of my dog in my computer for a long time, but I haven't had any idea what to do with it till now. Yesterday, I managed to take a similar one and it turned out to be a funny couple of two different but yet, similar creatures:) The second picture presents a roe deer.

The Tatra Mountains - early summer trip.

Last weekend we were visiting our beloved mountains - Tatras. The weather was pretty good, although there were storms everyday at noon so we had to start our trips really early in the morning. We certainly relaxed there, as usual, as it is a perfect place for taking a deep breath and chilling out.

Lazy May...

May was really lazy when it comes to my photographing. I think that this is because I'm... pregnant:) That is why I don't rush with anything now and I'm more careful with everything. Anyway, I did take some photos. Here they are (at least those worth placing here):

Spring ladies:)

A few days ago, I made a small daisy-chain. Then, I was trying to put it on my dogs' heads. It was very difficult in case of the smaller one. She kept turning her head backwards so that the daisy-chain was falling down. The bigger one, on the other hand, didn't care what was put on her head and she was so patient that I was able to take some photos of her. The background in these pictures is not pretty, but I could not convince them to change their location. Apparently cold dross is the best place to spend Sunday mornings :D

These beautiful Magnolia flowers were found by me and my husband while our first bicycle trip during this spring.

Finally...

Finally after maaaany weeks of passive existance, there is hope for real spring. My body and my mind desire sunny warm days. I was desperately looking forward to see the first signs of spring, and I have finally seen the first crocuses today. I know that the weather isn't bad since the first day of spring, but my idea of this season is slightly different. As for me it should be warm and sunny from the beginning. Well, that's who I am, I hate winter, cold and everything what's connected with them. But enough about me... These are my today's photos :)

Minerals - part three.

The third and so far the last part of photos which present minerals show a small piece of a topaz. I would like to tell you that all the minerals that are shown on my blog come from my brother's collection. He's got some amazing examples of many different minerals.

Minerals - part two.

Today I want to show you a couple of agates. I love the shapes that are hidden in these minerals. Only after taking macro photos you notice some new lines or colours. I'm going to borrow three macro rings from my friend. There are some parts of these agates that shoud be enlarged but my current equipment is not good enough to do this.
