There were a few Kestrels in Ustroń. They were very eager to pose and very patient.

Tatras

Today I would like to come back to our holidays. The weather was beautiful today so I started to think about this beautiful summer we had here in Poland this year. It was pretty hot and sometimes we were fed up with it, but it was still summer:)

But now, the Tatra mountains... I wish I was there now...

Barn Owl was another beautiful bird that I was admiring in the rehabilitation center.

Snow owl

I have visited a great place last sunday. It was a rehabilitation center for injured birds of pray. There were many species of beautiful birds like owls and eagles. I would like to show you today a Snow Owl. I think it is the most beutiful owl I have ever seen. It has very deep and 3D eyes.

In a different forest...

I haven't had much time for writing a post lately. So now, between cleaning windows and ironing, I'm going to show you some photos I have taken in Slovakia. This beautiful forest is located near Vrbickie Pleso (Pleso = Lake). I will show you this lake in a different post. Anyway, the forest is amasing, it's full of moss-covered trees and mushrooms. It's a beautiful place, worth visiting:)

Two busy weeks...

I've been trying to write something for the last two weeks. Unfortunately, there are such periods in a teacher's life that she (or he) has no time for anything. The beginning of a new school year was very stressful for me. I think that's why I'm sick now - my immunity was weakened. I didn't have much free time to look through your new posts, my dear readers, but I'm going to check them out this week as I've got a few days off.

What I want to show you today are two panoramas from Tatras. Both were taken in the Chochołowska Valley. I love this valley for beautiful views and the fact that there is a possibility of renting a bike. I'm joking now... but I'm going to use it the next time I'll be there as the trail is very long. Thanks to the bikes you can save your strength and visit nearby peaks.

Waterfalls in Tatras

There are many big waterfalls in Tatras like "Wodogrzmoty Mickiewicza" but no one menstions these small ones. I decided to take some photos of these small, unknown waterfalls.

Another lake:)

This lake is called "Gąsienicowy". It is not one of the five lakes from my previous posts. It's a separate place, also beautiful, located in the Tatra Mountains.

I'm having trouble with colours and brightness on my computer lately. I don't know how to adjust the brightness of some photos in PS. Ysterday I was checking my blog on my parents' computer and it turned out that they are far too dark - sometimes I couldn't even believe that these are the same photos I was working with last week. Now I don't know if they are too dark? My computer may give me a false image. What do You think of the brightness in my photos, especially the last panoramas. Do they look unnatural?

The valley of Five Polish Lakes - part two.

The first photo is from 2008 and the next two are from our last trip. My husband is working on my 360° panorama from this valley. I will publish it as soon as possible - I can't wait:)
