Old times

Christmas has passed and I haven't had time to write anything here. I'm going to catch up a little bit today.

I will start with showing You what I found during Christmas, when I was spending time with my family at my grandmother's. What we found there were four thick albums with my grandparents' old photos. They covered times of their youth as well as the war, the births of their children and weddings of their friends and relaives. What I like most are photos of hiking trips my grandpa went on. He loved mountains as much as I do. It's a wonderful feeling watching him walking familiar trails in the mountains that haven't changed at all since then.
Here are some pictures I liked the most.

The man on the left is my grandfather.

The girl on the left is my mum, the other one is her sister.

I also love the photos of architecture that was taken by my grandparents' friend. I have never been good at this kind of photos. He captured the buildings and building sites so professionally that I really find his pictures motivating.

I hope You enjoyed a little old fashioned photography. Greetings to everyone;)

  2. I love to look at old pictures Joanna; if only to see how times have changed.
It must have been great to look through those old picture albums.

  3. Keith, I love to look at them too. I love this unique climate. There is no chance to take such a photo with a digital camera. Even by making a photo look old in PS, it's not gonna be the same.

Pchełka, ja też uwielbiam ich klimat. Takich zdjęć już nie da się zdrobić przy użyciu cyfrowej technologii... a szkoda:)
